Five-day Educational Tour to Guilin
桂林五天考察團

Five S.4 and S.5 students of our school took a five-day education tour to Guilin during the summer vacation. The objective of the tour was to study the natural environment of our country. Students studied the Elephant Trunk Hill (象鼻山), Reed Flute Cave (蘆笛岩), Lijiang (漓江), Kootung Falls (古東瀑布) and Dragon Ridge Terrace (龍脊梯田). They learned how the landform was shaped and how a river valley was formed. During the sharing section every night, students shared experience on what they had learned. Students showed high interest on those geographical topics even though they were not geography students and they were proud of the great natural environment of their mother country.
