Exchange program to Taiwan
龍情台灣行

This summer vacation, our student LEE WING YEE was selected to join a 6-day exchange program to Taiwan. In the program, Chinese youngsters from 13 different places of the world (including Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Macau and USA) visited Taipei, Kaohsiung and Pingtung. They studied the lifestyles of the Taiwanese and shared their live experiences and values.

Besides the visit, they took part in meaningful service activities too. Through the 30-Hour Famine Activity (飢饉三十), they raised money to help the world people living under extreme poverty. They also visited the village of the Lei Lap Li Tribe (裡納里部落), which was destroyed previously by a strong typhoon. They helped the victims by providing them disaster supplies, cleaning up their places and repairing their houses. Students sensed the deep feeling of love and how one could behave as a world citizen by helping peoples of different nations all over the world.
