In the morning of 19th August, 2011 (Friday) ‘An Anti-crime & Anti-drugTalk’ was given by Mr Chun Ho Lau, Sergeant, Hong Kong Police Force, Kwai Tsing Police District, Police Community Relations Office, School Liaison Officer (Secondary) to our S1 students when they are having their S1 Induction & Orientation programme. In the words of our Discipline Mistress, ‘Precaution is better than cure’. Thus a professional in the field, the School Liaison Officer, Police Community Relations Office was invited to give our students a talk on the traps to youth around them and the problem of drugs abuse as well as spreading the message of anti-drugs. Mr Chun introduced to our students the types of drugs that are widely used in Hong Kong, the impact of drug abuse and the skills of resisting the use of drugs in social gathering among youth. The talk has received very positive feedback as teenage drug abuse is one of the hottest topics in the society. To express our gratitude to Mr Chun, a souvenir was presented by our Principal, Ms Tang Wai Chun, Agnes.
