Got 7 Prizes in the International 'Global Village' Painting Competition —One 1st Prize, One 2nd Prize, Four 3rd Prize and One Merit Prize
Students' superb artistic and aesthetic talents were clearly demonstrated in winning 7 Grand Prizes in the International '2011 Global Village' Painting Competition. Out of the 10,000 entries, our students got one 1st Prize, one 2nd Prize, four 3rd Prize and one Merit Prize. The winning entries of our students have been qualified to be published in the '2011 Global Village Album'. It is a vivid testimony that in the provision of all-round education in S. C Gaw, our students are given every opportunity to develop their artistic and aesthetic talents. Warmest Congratulations to our Budding Artists!
為提高環保意識，從而提升個人素質，締造生生不息的地球，共創和諧共融的世界，本校學生參與由國際文化交流 (香港)主辦的2011「地球村」繪畫比賽；經評審後，本校學生的參賽作品在比賽中取得卓越成績，獲頒七項殊榮（一等獎一名、二等獎一名、三等獎四名及優異獎一名），並獲得《2011「地球村」畫集》的入選資格，期望她們日後能持續創作，再接再厲，取得更大的進步和更佳的成績，可喜可賀！

In the course, not only are students developing their creative and aesthetic talents, they have learnt to love and care for our school, our community and our nation. These pieces of work prepare our students for good citizenship and nationhood. Again, it is a showcase of Love & Pride to our community, our country and the earth that we live in. Creative and good pieces of work were designed and prepared. What is demonstrated—having gone beyond our obvious and explore new ways of arts and design. All of their works were marvelous and the adjudicators were very much impressed by the superb standard. From the works of our young artists, what we can be for sure is—there are arts elites in S. C. Gaw!
