Saturday Afternoon Tea Gathering with F.1 & F.7 Parents

中一及中七級家長週末下午茶敘
To foster closer home-school co-operation and facilitate better communication with parents, the parents of F.1 and F.7 were invited to a gathering in the afternoon on 8th October, 2011. The response has been overwhelming and the result is fruitful. Over a hundred F.1 parents and around 40 F.7 parents joined the chat and talk. This has been a wonderful time for our Principal, Vice Principal, department heads and homeroom teachers to meet our parents in such an enjoyable and relaxing time.

S1 Parents have been enthusastic as to the new school life of their kids. Possible adaptation for their children, the ways to learn in English at S. C. Gaw and how the students could be more fully nurtured through the "All Starts with a Healthy Lifestyle" Program and the "Gifted Education & Multiple Intelligences Development Program" were talked about.

To F.7 parents, they shared with the teachers in giving all necessary guidance and supports to their children, especially on how to prepare for the forthcoming HKAL Examination as well as the possible academic and career prospects of F.7 graduates.

The happy passed quickly and the gathering came to an end at around 4:30pm. We all believe more home-school communication and cooperation will surely be an asset to the success and growth of our students.
