Third Form-based Pastoral Care Activity
第三次級本導育活動

The third form-based pastoral care activity was held on 2nd November, 2011. Various types of activities were arranged for different forms.

F1 students gathered in the playground playing tug-of-war. As it was a competition of strength, representatives were strong boys and girls chosen from each class. To express their support to their classes, homeroom teachers also participated in the game even though they might not be the strongest in their classes. After several rounds of tough competition with blood, sweat and tears, 1C turned out to be the champion.

F2 students attended their sex education classes. Social workers from the The Boys and Girls Clubs Association of Hong Kong provided lectures and activities to students. Through the activities, students understood the roles and identities of different genders and they realised how to respect the opposite sex.

The Department of Careers provided subject selection activities for the F3 students. The activities were carried out by the homeroom teachers. It was the first time that F3 students reviewed their own personalities, interests and abilities and how such personal characteristics matched with various subjects that they would take in F4.

F4 and F5 students gathered in the hall to attend an OLE talk arranged by the OLE task force of the school. Students understood what OLE was and how they could fulfill the requirements of the five areas of learning experience in OLE, namely Moral and Civic Education, Community Service, Career-related Experiences, Aesthetic Development and Physical Development.

There was no activity for F6 and F7 students since they were still in the First Term Examination.
