On 29th November 2011, TWGHs held the Joint Secondary Schools Speech Day for 18 secondary schools at Wan Chai Queen Elizabeth Stadium. It was most honoured to have Professor Tony F Chan, President of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (香港科技大學校長陳繁昌教授) to be the guest of honour for the ceremony.

Principals, teachers, students and parents from the 18 secondary schools had been invited. Elites obtaining outstanding academic results entered the stage one-by-one to receive their scholarships and congratulations from the guest of honour and chairman of the TWGHs. Their success was the result of their hard work, the nurturing of schools and the love and care of their parents. Their sense of gratefulness was expressed through the representative graduates who sincerely conveyed their votes of thanks to the fellow classmates, teachers, schools and the TWGHs.
