The LCSD Netball Development Tournament 2011-2012 for Hong Kong Schools organized by Hong Kong Netball Association and sponsored by the Leisure and Cultural Services was held on 29 December, 2011 at the Kowloon Park Sports Centre from 12pm – 5pm. It was the first time for our school to participate in Netball Competition. It was to our greatest delight that our Ladies' Netball Team won the 2nd runner-up in the LCSD Netball Development Tournament 2011-2012 康文署全港學界投球新手賽.

Our Netball players have just played Netball for less than 3 months. It is indeed a great opportunity for our students to enjoy the excitement of the game. Being emerged as the 2nd runner-up, the team has demonstrated commendable team spirit as well as sophisticated skills. Our Netball team members also displayed their perseverance and determination to succeed throughout the competition with very encouraging results. Members of the winning team include S3A LEUNG HIU CHING SUKI (梁曉晴), S3A LEE MUK CHING (李牧澄), S3B KANG WAN YI (耿蘊怡), S3B LEE WAI TUNG JOYCE (李葦彤), S3C HO YUEN YING (何婉瑩) and S3C CHONG MEI YIN (莊美賢). Well-done!

The all-round talents and the love for sports of students of TWGHs S. C. Gaw Memorial College was once again confirmed. Congratulations to the members of our newly established Netball Team! We hope that they could stretch their potentials further and make more brilliant accomplishments in the coming years.
