Mr Chan Tak-hang, an experienced Principal in the local education sector, (School Development Officer, QSIP of CUHK & Former Principal) was invited to our school on 4 January, 2012. The topic is "To develop a successful lesson". There teachers, especially those who had years of experience in classroom with a strong belief that they had already providing successful lessons to students, were deeply impressed and inspired by the principles and rubrics on a successful lesson introduced by Mr. Chan. To begin with, Mr. Chan established the criteria of a good lesson. Those criteria laid down the consensus among teachers on how a lesson could be evaluated. Then, he revealed the major learning characteristics of our young students and how teachers could redesign their lessons to best suit those students who are born in the digital age. Mr. Chan further illustrated with practical examples and shared with teachers his own experiences on how a successful lecture could be constructed.

"If They Don't Learn in the Way You Teach, Teach the Way They Learn." It is the job of educators today to look into new teaching strategies that cater for the diversified needs and learning habits of the students and to equip oneself towards the real title of being "Professional".
