Led by our school Principal, the SIT members, together with Mr. Lau HC and Ms. Kwan MP, visited KIANGSU-CHEKIANG COLLEGE (Shatin) on 18th January 2012. The team was welcomed by the Principal Mr H.L. Chan, who provided a general introduction of the school. He further introduced the CKC Chinese Input Method (縱橫輸入法). With the demonstration of a student representative who was one of the prize-winners of the HK Chinese Input Method Competition, we all admitted that the speed was amazing. Then we were divided into groups. Teachers of the Kiangsu-Chekiang College and our teachers shared with each other many aspects of school policies and education strategies related to Liberal Studies, Mathematics, Information Technology, Principles of Accounts, Chinese and English.

Then we visited the school campus and were deeply impressed by how intensive a school campus could be used for educational purposes. Principal Chan introduced us the school gate that was made with the knowledge of art and mathematics and how the design developed the sense of belongings of students to the school. The school campus was decorated with scenario spots of trees and plants of different cultural styles. The goldfish pond was constructed in a way that integrated learning activities of various subjects from Science, Arts to Humanities. Even the walls in stars and playgrounds were covered by students' works and they were painted by themes from subject knowledge to school educational purposes.

We learn a lot during the visit and our visions are expanded. It is no doubted why Kiangsu-Chekiang College can be so successful with so much outstanding students and brilliant performances.
