Ten of our students were nominated as Eco-guides of Tung Wah Eco Walk. They attended, together with more than 150 students from other Tung Wah schools, a training session on 21 January 2012 (Saturday) at YKYSS. They trained to be a tour guide and acted as one in a mock-trial for one of the 5 routes. They were then invited to make presentation to participants during the Eco Walk scheduled on 4 February 2012 (Saturday).

In the morning on 4 February, more than Tung Wah 1600 students (among whom 40 came from our school) joined the Eco Walk. Our S.C.Gaw Eco guides presented to the participants some interesting biotic and physical features of Sheung Yiu Country Trail at Sai Kung. The performance of our Eco guides was highly appreciated. Both Eco guides and participants learned much on the unique features of Sai Kung and its wildlife. The activity enhanced their pro-environmental attitude and behaviour.
