To foster closer home-school co-operation and facilitate better communication with parents, the parents of S5 and S6 were invited to have a gathering in the afternoon on 18th February 2012. The response was good. Parents were able to have a cosy chat with the teachers about their children. This was also a valuable chance for our Principal, Vice Principal, Department Heads to meet our parents in a relaxed atmosphere. The parents and the teachers shared experiences on guiding and supporting their children, especially on how to prepare for the forthcoming examination as well as the possible academic and career prospects of students.

To provide more information to students and parents for career planning, three institutions were invited to introduce their colleges. They were the International College of the Baptist University, Tung Wah College and Mind Education. They introduce the curriculums and entrance requirements of their colleges. The Mind Education introduced to students and parents the ways to get into colleges in mainland China and the opportunities of developing their career in the motherland.

The gathering ended at half past four and the parents left with a better understanding of their children's performance in school. We all believe that more home-school communication and cooperation will surely be an asset to the success and growth of our students.
