Farewell to S.6&S.7 Graduates
歡送中六及中七畢業生

Today, 23rd February 2012, was the last day for the S.6 and S.7 students. Farewell activities began early in the morning. Students returned school early and they took photos with classmates and teachers. They exchanged personal photos and wrote to each other commemorative notes of encouragement. In the afternoon, S.6 and S.7 students gathered in the podium. There the Principal held a lunch buffet for all our S.6 and S.7 students and the teachers. It was a happy and relaxed afternoon for the teachers and students chatting and taking photos.

The climax of the today was the Farewell Assembly. Everyone of the school gathered in the hall. The afternoon started, as usual, with the singing of the school song, only more passionate this time; it was led by S.6 and S.7 student representatives on the stage. Then the Principal addressed our graduates, encouraging them to have a positive life-style and wishing them every success in their forthcoming public exams.

It was the time for our graduates to express their feelings to their teachers and schoolmates. They expressed to all students their appreciation to every teacher and their gratitude to the school, for all the efforts they made to develop them into an all-round young adult. Through movies and songs, they showed how precious their school life was and how much they loved their classmates, teachers and school.

After the assembly, all S.6 and S.7 teachers and students went to the playground to take a photo which showed them forming the shape of a "heart" and waving hands in high spirit.

Today, they went home late. Many of them stayed behind long after six o'clock in the evening. They all knew that there would come the moment they had to "leave" but their friendship and love they built up in S.C. Gaw would last and remain in their heart forever.
