The Hong Kong School Drama Festival 2011-2012' School Performance Phase Competition was held on 27th February 2012 at our School Hall. Directed by Lee Ling Yee,Cherry (5A), the Wrong Way is a drama highlighting how teenagers face the conflict between upholding family values and striving for independence. The theme was current and relevant to modern-day issues.

The drama competition confirmed the spirit of co-operation among S. C. Gawers. With the joint effort of our seventeen Drama Team members, the student-written script was transformed into a delightful play. Students demonstrated their artistic and creative talents when they turned themselves into director, performers, set designers, stage managers, sound and light effects experts and backstage personnel. The performance was well-received by the audience and the adjudicators from the organizer. Our Drama Team was much encouraged by the adjudicators' comments in the post-performance sharing session. The adjudicators highly praised our students for their excellent acting and stage work.
