恭賀拉丁舞隊隊員張晴國及盧淑婷首次參加《第五屆Donnie Burns Cup國際標準舞及拉丁舞大賽》取得卓越成績——在國際級別青年組公開比賽獲第四、第五及第六名佳績!
I am very happy to share with you the accomplishments that two of our talented young artists at SCGMC in Dance Sport, Lo Shuk Ting and Cheung Ching Kwok. In their first attempt to challenge the international arena, they took part in the "5th Donnie Burns Cup Open Dance Championships" organized by Hong Kong Ballroom Dancing Council on 11th March, 2012 at 1/F Ballroom, Regal Riverside Hotel. In these Asia World Open Champions, they captured the 4th place in Asia Junior A Latin, the 5th place in Asia Junior B Latin & the 6th place in Asia Junior A Single Latin respectively.
In this grand event, there were over 16 participating countries such as Italy, England, Germany, Sweden, Russia, Japan , Scotland, Korea, Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, China, Philippines and Hong Kong. The standard of the competition was high and in fact of an international professional level. Our young team learnt a lot from other professional performers and their outstanding dancing techniques.
Indeed, Lo Shuk Ting & Cheung Ching Kwok has demonstrated with full dexterity. They were well-prepared and confident in the competition. They might still not be able to step up to the stand of the Overall Champion, victory shall never be far. We would like to congratulate our budding young artists for achieving such a remarkable result in this Asia Open Latin Dance Competitions 2012.
