The 10th Form-based Pastoral Care Activity
第十次級本導育活動

The 10th form-based pastoral care activity period was held on 20th March 2012. Like those previous activity periods, different forms were arranged with different activities to cater for their diversified needs.

S.1 to S.3 students were gathered in the hall attending an inter-class Chinese and English Speech Competition.

S.4 students attended a talk concerning the New Senior Secondary Applied Learning Subjects. Staffs from the Caritas Community & Higher Education Service came to our school to introduce the subjects including Fundamental Cosmetology, Health Care Practice, Practical Accounting for SMEs, and Automotive Technology. They told students the selection criteria, curriculum structures, career pathways, course fees arrangement and the learning activity highlights for each subjects during the 2012-2014 cohort. Many students showed high interest in the subjects. They raised many questions and most of them concerned about the roles and recognitions of the subjects as an independent elective subject in their New Senior Secondary Education. The talk ended when students handed in the application survey and most of them replied that they were willing to apply for one or two applied learning subjects.

An Inter-class Dodge Ball Competition was held for S.5 students. Each S5 class sent in a team of ten players. They were all well-trained athletes who were able to escape the attack by their rivals at critical moments with most unexpected gestures. The competition was keen and wonderful and the whole playground was filled with screams, applauses and cries. At last, the champion was 5D.
