The Hong Kong Inter-Secondary & Primary Schools Fencing Invitation Championship was held on 7th April, 2012 at South China Athletic Association. It was the first time our newly formed School Fencing Team took part in a territory-wide fencing competition. With the painstaking effort made by our young fencers and the full support from of the classmate fans, our fencers beat their opponents and achieved very pleasing results. In Boys & Girls' Mixed Epee, New Talent Fencing Championship, Chiu Wai Shing of F.1D got the 1st Runner-up and Lau Wai Ki of F.1D again secured the 2nd Runner-up. Congratulations to our young fencers!
Aiming at promoting a life-long hobby and exercise which leads to a healthy life-style, the Fencing Team of SCGMC was first established at the beginning of October, 2011. It is open to all students of the school. Hong Kong Outreach Coach has been recruited to train our players.
