Students are the most valuable assets in school. They need love and care. Their voices need to be heard and their behaviors need to be understood. That is why the school opens each year several family meetings for students to talk with the Principal and the teachers and to express their opinions about the school.

The five family meetings this year were held from 11th to 23rd April, 2012. Class representatives including monitors, class chairmen and vice-chairmen were invited. They talked to the Principal, Vice-principal and teachers face-to-face. In the meeting, all members were equal. Students could freely express their ideas that covered almost all aspects of school affairs such as school uniforms requirement, textbooks and notebooks arrangement, lunch time arrangement, classroom and laboratory facilities and even the teaching methods used by the teachers. Students were polite and honest and the Principal and teachers were willing to explain to them wholeheartedly the reasons behind the policies and the ways to solve their problems and difficulties. Conversations were carried out in a warm and sincere atmosphere. Even though not all problems could be solved, the meeting enhanced mutual understanding between the school and the students and it laid the foundation for the whole school to develop as a family with respect, care and concerns.
