It was the honor of S. C. Gawers to have the presence of Mr. Yip Kin-chow, Senior Superintendent of Police, SSP, Hong Kong Police Force, New Territories South Region, Transport Department in conducting a talk on 17th May, 2012. All students gathered at the Hall during the Assembly Period and Mr. Yip shared with us his exciting and interesting stories of being a policeman for more than 30 years. He told our students how he was aspired to be a policeman when he was still a primary school boy. Then he went further to highlight how he strived his way from a Junior Cadet Graduate to the rank of Senior Superintendent of Police. He encouraged students to keep a good character with a gracious spirit to serve the community. Students were all highly attentive and they showed active response in the Question & Answer Session. Questions of various aspects were raised and well-answered by Mr Yip. They got very excited and were looking forward to seeing Mr. Yip again in the future. The legendary story of Mr Yip in the Police Force did tell our students—if you have a dream, step on it and you will succeed!

為配合學校關注事項之一：提升學生的國民素質，本校於五月十五日邀請得新界南區交通部葉建高級警司蒞臨演講。演講內容主要圍繞葉警司個人奮鬥的精神，以鼓勵同學培養良好的品格及服務社會的精神。同學都聚精匯神聆聽，在發問環節也非常踴躍。
