After 3 rounds of competitions and beating a number of strong teams, we are happy to announce that our School Debate Team has finally emerged as the Overall 1st Runner-up in the Joint Tung Wah Secondary Schools Debate Contest on 26th May 2012. Congratulations to our School Debate Team for securing such record making results—the best result ever obtained by SCGMC in this Contest!

本校辯論隊於5月26日在邱子田中學進行了東華聯辯的決賽，辯題為「通識科列入新高中必修科利大於弊」，本校為正方，反方為陳兆民中學。經過一場龍爭虎鬥，舌劍唇槍，最後本校獲得全場的亞軍﹗

東華聯辯由4月開始，本校連續數場過關斬將，由八強賽一直以壓倒性姿態打入決賽，成績為歷屆之冠。當中成功實有賴一眾辯員團結一致，無懼艱苦練習。在此再一次恭賀辯論隊取得佳績，為校爭光。
