Visit to Hong Kong Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre
參觀賽馬會創意藝術中心

69 S.4 S.C.Gawers visited the Hong Kong Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre on 28th May, 2012. The Centre was located in a multi-storey factory building in Shek Kip Mei. The building had been used for manufacturing light industrial products such as toys, clothing and watches in the past and was then renewed. During the visit, students were exposed to creative hand-made arts and crafts. The artists there shared with them their paths to creativity and the joy from the work. Moreover, students were introduced to the culture of Ghana in Africa and joined the workshop making African drums. Students enjoyed the visit and they realized how wonderful it was when one could create under his own will and how great the sense of success was when one could make his own unique product of the world through creativity.
