“Understanding the Kwai Tsing Programme” organized by the Kwai Tsing District Youth Programme Committee (葵青區青年活動委員會) was held from 21st to 29th July, 2012. Students from primary and secondary schools in Kwai Tsing District were invited to join. Our students Lee Cheong Wai 李暢淮 (3A)、Tsang Man Wing曾文榮 (3B)、Yung Mo Yan翁慕茵 (3A)、Tsoi Lok Yi蔡樂怡 (3B) and Mok Yuk Ping莫玉萍 (3D) were nominated. The whole programme included visiting activities to enhance students’ understanding of the District. Then students presented their knowledge on Kwai Tsing through their artworks that would be displayed in a serious of exhibitions at different places of Kwai Tsing District. The programme was meaningful as it promoted among the students a sense of belonging to their District and raised their sensitivity to district affairs.
