A bright Sunday morning on 12th August, 2012 came the F.1 New Students’ & Parents' Orientation Day, organized for the new students who have been admitted and will be studying at TWGHs S. C. Gaw Memorial College in 2012-2013. To start with, there was a video show on the re-collection of the school life @ S. C. Gaw 2010-2011. Our School Principal, Ms Agnes Tang welcomed the new members of S. C. Gaw and a speech on how to cultivate students who are outstanding in academic studying and extra-curricular activities. A number of in-charges, Mr Edward Y.W. Chu, Ms Wong Lai Fan, Mr Cheung Chau Fan, Ms Kwan May Ping, Mr Cheung Wai Ching and Ms Wen Pui Yi gave comprehensive accounts of the life of S. C Gawers.

For the smoother transition from Primary 6 to Secondary 1, information regarding the Summer Bridging Program between 13-24 August 2012 was given. Discipline training, Sports & Multiple Intelligence and English Drama were mentioned. It is hoped that our new students can be well-prepared and enjoy their forthcoming school life at S. C. Gaw. More importantly, greater home-school cooperation can be forged so as to enable our S1 students to adapt smoothly to their new secondary school life.
