Tung Wah Group of Hosiptals is the largest charitable organization in Hong Kong providing a variety of comprehensive social services to people of Hong Kong including medical and health, education and community services. TWGHs Flag Selling Day is a big day to all people in Hong Kong, especially for those Tung Wah staffs and students in which they express their support to the organization. On 22nd August, 2012, students of Tung Wah, led by their teachers, sold flags all over Hong Kong.

To support Tung Wah, more than 350 S.C.Gaw students and teachers gathered early in the morning at various locations of Hong Kong, including Central, Tsing Yi, Hung Hum, Chai Wan and Siu Sai Wan. They worked the whole morning until noon. Even though the day was hot and wet, students stayed in their spots and tried their best to ask passers-by for donations. They were grateful as most of the people were generous. When they were rejected, they showed no sign of discouragement and continued selling flags so as to sell as many flags as they could within the limited amount of hours they got.

The manner of students was marvelous. They are hard working, polite and well-disciplined and there is no doubt that Tung Wah students are full of compassion with high serving spirit.
