The election of our new Student Union began after school on 5th October, 2012. After the homeroom period, led by their homeroom teachers to the hall, our school students collected a ballot to vote for their favorite candidates. The whole process was monitored by the Principal, Vice-principal and teachers to ensure that the election was fair and open. Supporters of the candidates were eagerly waiting outside the school hall and waiting for the result. After all the votes were confirmed, the final result came. ' CM ' received 343 votes and became the winner. There were 118 invalid votes.

The Principal congratulated the winning cabinets and the president of 'CM' thanked his team members for their support and the schoolmates who had voted for him. Undoubtedly, Student Union election was an important civic education programme to all students. On one hand, they learned how to critically evaluate the policies of different candidates and make their own choices; on the other hand, they learned the whole election process that aroused their sense of citizenship and to be a responsible citizen to Hong Kong society.
