Quality Education Alliance (QEA) was established in 19th September, 1997 and founded by LEO CLUB OF METROPOLITAN HONG KONG sponsored by Lions Club of Metropolitan Hong Kong aiming at the promotion of quality education service.

Leo members come from different tertiary institutions, the different faculties and the different backgrounds in Hong Kong. Their common goal is to serve the community, to help the community. LEO 〔L (Leadership), E (Experience), O (Opportunity)〕stands for putting in place leadership lessons and seeking opportunities to achieve international understanding through community service.

Five Form 4 delegates from S. C. Gaw were nominated as the representative in the Executive Committee (EC) of QEA. Our nominated students were invited to attend the QEA EC Orientation Day which took place at the City University on 14th October 2012. The orientation day aimed at providing student leaders with more information concerning the different tasks of QEA. It is also a good opportunity for the student leaders to find out more about the programs they are interested and know each other much betterr. In a series of activities, they did have lots of fun and a great deal of achievements. Besides, we would like to congratulate our student, Lee Hoi Yi, Hindy (4B) for being elected as Vice –chairperson of the Board of Executive Committee.

In the coming year, the committee members will have to plan and organize various activities for the member schools of QEA as well as the student leaders of Hong Kong. Under the guidance and advice of Representative Council of the LEO Club and the Organizing Council of QEA, proposed functions and activities will be carried out.
