On 7th November 2012, a representative from the Baptist University came to our school and introduced the University to our S.6 students. Students were introduced the admission arrangements, entrance requirements and curriculum characteristics of the Baptist University. Students were further recommended the Journalism degree-course offered by the Department of Communication. The programme's special characteristic is that it emphasises both theory and practice, covering professional journalistic knowledge, academic subjects, critical thinking, analytical skills and media ethics. Graduates of the Journalism programme fill many leadership roles in the Hong Kong media industry. After the talk, our students have a better understanding of the University and believe that Journalism is a good choice to them..
