Fourth Form-based Pastoral Care Activities – Tailor-made Growth Activities for Junior Form Students & Senior Form Inter-class Singing Contest
第四次級本導育活動 - 初中級成長活動及高中級班際歌唱比賽

The Fourth Form-based Pastoral Care Activities were held on 4th December, 2012. To cater for the needs of students from different forms, different activities were carried out.

S.1 students participated in marching activities. This was a refreshing activity since S.1 students had already practised this kind of training during their induction course in the summer holiday. Through marching practice, the programme aims at reinforcing students the concept of being self-disciplined and being strong enough to face challenges in studying and living.

Homeroom teachers provided a programme for S.2 students which was called “Way out in the face of Adversity 逆境中的出路”. Through situational games, video shows, storytelling and worksheets, students learned the theory and practised how to deal with difficult situations and understood how to think in a positive way to find solutions in case of difficulty.

S.3 students were provided with a programme concerning “Goal Setting”. Social workers introduced to students the importance of goal setting and how a proper choice of goal affects the future. Students realize that life is full of challenges and their dreams will eventually come true if they have the courage to change.

S.4 to S.6 students took part in an inter-class singing contest. Students looked forward to the contest and they had practised hard during the last month during recess, lunch and even after school. Some classes invited their homeroom teachers to sing with them. Although it was the preliminary competition, students treated it as the final. Their songs, filling with joy and happiness, showed how deep they love their fellow students, their teachers and also the school.
