The Second S.1 Admission Information Day & S.2 English Musical Day was held on 8th December 2012. There were parents and Primary Six students coming to our school for the Information Day and they enjoyed the English Musical together with our S.2 students and their parents.

After a video show that introduced the activities of our school last year, the Principal welcomed our visitors and introduced the policies of our school in nurturing the growth and development of students to them. It was then followed by Martial Arts performance. Even though our Martial Arts team had been established for just two months, their brilliant performance was highly appreciated by the audience.

Here came the English Musical - “Graduate with Your Friends.” The Musical was performed by our students. The story is about a final year class with students of mixed abilities. There are bright students (Eric & Alice), lazy students (Sandy and Katy), and average students, but they are all being pushed to study hard for the exams. Despite their difference in academic strengths, they all love dancing, singing and playing in the Marching Band. The teacher and the coach of the Band, however, insist everyone must do well in the exams before they can continue their beloved extra-curricular activities. Divided they fall, united they stand. Will they be able to make it altogether and perform in the Final Marching Band Show? This is a story glorifying mutual support and friendship at school.

After that, visitors started to tour round our school campus. Student tour guides introduced the school facilities to our visitors. They led the visitors to the English Learning Centre where there were students running the Life-wide English Learning activities. Besides, there were workshops in the Laboratories in which Primary Six students and their parents worked together for the simple experiments.

The final Q&A section was held when all the visitors returned back to the hall. Our Principal and teachers answered the questions of visitors. Through activities of the day, visitors know more about S.C.Gaw and have a better understanding of our school. It is sure that S.C.Gaw can be one of their good choices.
