教師發展日 - 共同分享1531教學心得及電子白板的應用

On 10 January 2013, teachers gathered at room 101 to share teaching experiences. ‘1531’ is a lesson arrangement. It is suggested that 10% of time in a lesson should be used for activating students’ prior knowledge; 50% of time used for lecture; 10% of time used for student activities and the rest 10% of time used for making conclusion. The first part was introduced by Ms. Yip WM on‘1531’ for the subject of History. Then Ms. Cheng BW told the fellow teachers how‘1531’ can be done in Chinese lessons. Ms. Yip told us how she drew the attention of students with the assistance of interesting games and movies in her History lessons. Ms. Cheng introduced to us how the writing skills of students can be improved under the different kinds of interactive activities

The second part was the introduction on the application of e-whiteboard. Mr. Chan KT told us the functions of e-whiteboard and how it can be used with other computer programs. Mr. Lau HC shared with us how using the e-whiteboard can strengthen the effectiveness of his Maths lessons. Mr. Yip KP showed the teachers how e-whiteboard can be adopted in Integrated Humanities classes.

Teachers were able to get the latest ideas on how their lessons can be improved with the application of e-whiteboard. We all hope that our lectures can be more interesting and student’s learning can be more effective. We are here to express our greatest gratitude to the colleagues for their efforts in preparing this enjoyable and meaningful workshop.
