On 14th January, 2012, there was a staff development on 2007 ESR Re-visits. It was our honor to have a workshop organized by Mr. Tsui Fook Keung, Principal, Delia Memorial College (Hip Wo). Mr. Tsui was an experienced ex-Chief Quality Assurance Officer, QAD, EDB. It was the second time Mr. Tsui visited our school because he was the team leader of TWGHs S.C. Gaw Memorial College ESR Team in April 2007.

Mr. Tsui first introduced the major aims of ESR which enhances the continuous improvement of a school through overall study on the four domains of ‘Management and Organization’, ‘Learning and Teaching’, ‘Student Support and School Ethos’, and ‘Student Performance’.

It was then followed by a question and answer session. With reference to the 2007 ESR report, teachers raised questions regarding teaching quality in a classroom, organization structure and school foci of development and Mr. Tsui told our teachers how an ESR inspection team makes judgment based on some specific principles.

Through the seminar, teachers have a clear understanding of how ESR works and get more confident in working for the coming ESR which is expected to come very soon.
