Our school principal and teachers attended a talk on the Language Across Curriculum (LAC) in Yau Tse Tin Memorial College on 19th January 2013. Prof. Evelyn Mandelivered a talk called “ Supporting Language Across the Curriculum (LAC) in School: Why and How”. Prof. Evelyn Manpointed out the importance of language awareness of different subjects for secondary students and offered the ways how collaboration between English language teachers and content subject teachers can be done. The talk has inspired our S.C.Gaw teachers on how to promote and implement LAC in school.
