The “Asia Insurance Phoenix Cup 2013” of the International Baseball Federation ( IBAF ) Hong Kong International Women’s Baseball Tournament was organized by the Hong Kong Baseball Association. It was held on 18th to 21st January 2013 in Hong Kong. It attracted players from different countries.

The IBAF supports the “Phoenix Cup” as it provides the “Defender’s Cup”. This year, seven women’s baseball teams from Australia, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong came to play in the Tournament.

In order to promote the development and knowledge of baseball, our S.6 Students were invited by LSD to join this internationally renowned event on 21 January 2013 at Sai Tso Wan Baseball fields. Luckily, we met our fellow alumnus, Miss Cheuk Woon Yee Sinney (卓莞爾) and took a photo with her. Today, she is the representative of the Hong Kong Team.

It provided us with a precious experience in this high level competition and raised students' interest of baseball through the guided tour arranged by LSD. We all had an enjoyable and a pleasurable moment.
