A Caring School Culture facilitates healthy growth and development of students. The Hong Kong Christian Service has jointly organized the “Caring Schools Award Scheme” with the Hong Kong Association of Careers Masters and Guidance Masters and the Education Bureau ever since 2008. This scheme was to commend those schools which have made good efforts to promote a culture of love and care in their school campus. This scheme aimed at promoting caring school culture and showing recognition to teachers and school personnel on their dedicated efforts in loving their students --- this goes perfectly well with the compassionate and caring pastoral care policy of S. C. Gaw as well as the guiding principles of our school motto, ‘Diligence, Frugality, Loyalty and Faithfulness’, In this regard, our school was honoured with the ‘Caring School Award’.
