The Earth hour was first started on 31st March 1996 by the World Wildlife Fund. In order to support such a meaningful activity, the lights of the school campus were turned off at 12:05 to 1:05 pm on 22nd March 2013. All teachers and students were called to do together through the morning announcement. Besides, there was a slogan competition for junior secondary students of our school to arouse their interest in supporting the ‘Earth Hour’.

To ask for the support of parents, there was an electronic notice sent to them. This was to remind parents and students to turn off their lights at home from 8:30 to 9:30 pm on 23rd March 2013.

Through such an action, we remind ourselves that a small action will bring a tremendous difference on earth when we work together.
