S.1 to S.3 students gathered in the hall and participated in an inter-class Chinese Speech Competition. Representatives from each class took several months in preparation for topics that they were going to present. The topics handled by S.1, S.2 and S.3 students were “A Story Book I Read 從一本書說起”, “A Successful Person 從一位名人說起” and “A Comment on a Social Issue 從一則新聞說起” respectively. S.1 participants introduced their fellow students some interesting story books. The presentations were so amusing that many students admitted that they would read more books in the future. S.2 participants introduced how some great people could become successful. The success of the great people will surely encourage our students to work harder. S.3 students expressed their opinions on the current issues including economics, politics and social development. They were able to analyze the issues with their convincing and comprehensive evidence.
