On 19th April, members of the Chinese History Club and the History Club were delighted to see the glamour of the Assyrian and Babylonian empires through the relics of the Palaces of Nimrud and the Royal Library of Nineveh collected by the British Museum. The students have learnt a lot about the contributions of Mesopotamia as the cradle of civilization, especially in the invention of writing, establishing administrative system and astrology. The exhibition offered our students a chance to learn world history outside the classroom.
