The Sex Education Team of the Board of Student Support arranged sex education periods for the students from S.1 to S.3. The lesson to S.3 was held on 26th June, 2013 while those for S.1 and S.2 were held on 2nd and 3rd June respectively.

The sex education period for S.1 students concerned about the “Relationship between Different Sexes ”「男女相處之道」. School social workers from The Boys and Girls Clubs Association of Hong Kong were invited to arrange activities to our students. Through games and discussions, students realized the roles were different for different genders and learned how to accept their own sexual identities. The social workers also reminded students to be aware of sexual harassment and told students the ways to protect themselves in case of sexual harassment.

The sex education topic for S.2 and S.3 students was “Cost of Love”「愛的代價」. Through games and discussions, the social workers introduced to our students the real nature of love between couples and the positive ways to get along with people of the different sexes. Students also learned how they could maintain a healthy and positive relationship with people of different sexes and the damages of unhealthy sexual relationship to them and their friends.
