Our school participated in the Hong Kong Healthy Schools Award Scheme 2013-2014 and a school audit was carried out by the Centre for Health Education and Health Promotion of The Chinese University of Hong Kong in July 2014. The period under review was September 2013 to August 2014.

The aim of the audit is to evaluate the performance and status of each school using guidelines authorised by the World Health Organisation in relation to six key areas of health. The six key areas of heatlh are: Healthy School Policies, School’s Physical Environment, School’s Social Environment, Action Competencies for Healthy Living, Community Links and School Health Care and Promotion Services.

A school’s status and performance is evaluated by reviewing documentation, conducting interviews and site visits.Our school achieved outstading results from the audit and so we were awarded the “Healthy Promoting School Award”.
