S C Gaw Master chef Junior Challenge Cooking Class

We are glad to invite Esther Shum, a professional chef of a French restaurant, Maison Es, to hold a cooking class for our junior form students. There are five students to be selected to join the cooking class. This cooking class consists of a lecture session and a practical session. Students are required to have their note taking. The cooking class is a formal and strict culinary class. Students must be dressed formally as a chef first.

In the class, our studentshave to learn different basic cookery methods - the knife skills and cutting methods. They are imparted the basic skills of making desserts.

Students can serve different kinds of cakes. Finally they can enjoy the meals with their parents. This cooking class has provided a chance for our students to work in the catering industry. They can learn to enjoy the preparation and serving.
