On 26 October 2015, S3 students are given a workshop about subject selection. The activity lasted for an hour (2:45 pm – 3:45 pm) and was carried out by Mark Sir and his co-workers at the School Lecture Theatre.

They were given the chances to develop the critical thinking ability which enabled them to choose suitable subjects later. The workshop was divided into three parts.

In the first part, students had to build up the self-concept and the concept of self recognition through the games so as to grasp their strengths and weaknesses.

In the second part, the speaker taught them the usage of ‘SWOT’ which is a structured planning method used to evaluate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Students were offered a chance to apply this tool to analyze and to make a correct decisions.

At the last part, students were given information about different NSS subjects and got the enrollment requirement information of different universities.
