Students’ Arts Experience — Appreciating the Artistry of Zhang Junqiu “Riverside Pavilion” by Beijing Opera

On 26th February, 2016, all Chinese Dance Team members were entertained by “Riverside Pavilion”, a Beijing Opera at City Hall. The Artistry of Zhang Junqiu, “Riverside Pavilion” was performed by the Jingju Theater Company of Beijing.
Our students enjoyed the opera performance very much. They now have a deeper understanding of the opera that is a synthesis of stylized action, singing, dialogue and mime, acrobatic fighting and dancing to represent a story or depict different characters.
