The School Community of TWGHs S C Gaw Memorial College would like to congratulate our former School Supervisor, Mr Sze Wing Hang for being awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star (BBS) by the HKSAR.

Congratulations to our former School Supervisor, Mr Sze Wing Hang for his being awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star (BBS) by the Government of HKSAR. Announced in the Government Gazette, Mr Sze was given the honour of BBS which is in recognition of his valuable contributions to charity and community service, particularly his work as the Chairman of the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals.

Mr Sze Wing Hang is a philanthropist and is very devoted to the positive development of teenagers in the disadvantaged families in Hong Kong. His dedication to the cultivation of the talents, potentials and capabilities of the teenagers has been deeply connected to the progress of TWGHs S. C. Gaw Memorial College. When he was appointed as School Supervisor, he was so involved in the administration and management of the school and had shown care and concern for the development of students in the school. He always looked for opportunities to share his experiences with the students and hoped to nurture them to be resilient, perseverant and responsive to the fast-paced communities. The students should be well-equipped with different skills and abilities so that they are able to anchor their North Star. Under his support and blessing, the school has had the comprehensive improvements in terms of student support like the establishment of TW Chairman Mr Sze Wing Hang Nature Education Trail for promoting green education and life, and the setting up of Green Kitchen for advancing healthy eating. He has contributed to the school-based curriculum by sharing his valuable business experiences in our school-based values education programmes. To be frank, the whole community of TWGHs S C Gaw Memorial College is so excited about his tremendous and significant achievements and contributions to education, the community, Hong Kong and China.
