Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish

Time Capsule Garden is the most commemorative venue because Our School Donor, Mrs Rossana Gaw and her family, Our Chairman of Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, Mr Sze Wing Hang, Ivan, Our School Supervisor, Mr Sunny Tan, and teacher and student representatives will store some of their “invaluable” items in the time capsule for five years. This has symbolized the meaning of sustainable development and heritage and this ceremony aims at showing that different stakeholders have offered their blessings to the positive development of the school. The podium garden is decorated with multiple loaves and fish because of the following reason:

“The parable of the multiplication of the loaves and fish teaches us exactly this: that if there is the will, what we have never ends. Miracle will happen as people are willing to share what they have with a crowd even though they suffer insufficiency and scarcity since it is the key to real happiness and individuals will inevitably gain a wealth of life experiences. It is doubtless to say that there is a human tendency to feel overwhelmed normally when people do not have surplus for sharing. In fact, suffering still prevails alongside with abundance. Only does generosity allow each individual to seek a sense of richness and satisfaction.”

It is our burning desire to encourage each of the students to be more caring and concerning, just like one Chinese saying “It is Better to Give Than to Receive.”
