Nature has no problem. The problem is with us and that's why ‘Greener Way of Life’ is much talked about in these days. The Environmental Education Week started yesterday was a vivid proof to every S. C. Gawers as to how we can share ways in which we can live 'green' and care for the environment. The activities organized by the Life Education Department in the week include Green Diet, Energy Conservation, Saving Water, Carbon Reduction and Recycling. |
What is the cost of a copy of a newspaper or a pair of jeans? You might say, 'Very little.' However, it is not the price that matters. Since the moment that we are born everything we consume puts a price on ecology, more than we can imagine. It is the mother nature who sacrifices whenever choices are to be made like global warming, loss of energy, water pollution and air pollution, etc. All these are problems created by nature, they are problems we create. To go green with a greener way of life helps to save the environment. Dear students, please start to be green. Be aware of every opportunity to be more environmentally friendly. For more tips for a greener way of life, you can browse the Green Campus on our School Webpage. Let’s work hand in hand in building a better environment! Finally, I sincerely hope that all of you can enjoy all the green activities that are to be followed. Thank you. |
