On 26th January 2013, there was an afternoon gathering for S.3 students and their parents. More than a hundred S.3 students and their parents attended the gathering. The major theme of the gathering was “Senior Secondary Subject Selection - Making an informed choice”.

Our Principal welcomed the coming of the parents and she began the gathering with a sharing on what makes a good choice. Then our Vice-principal introduced to parents the senior secondary academic structure of the school. It was then followed by Ms. Lee, our Career Mistress who told the parents the entrance requirements of local universities and reminded students to choose subjects wisely by considering their interests, aptitude and abilities.

Parents and students of the same class then sat together with their Homeroom Teachers to discuss the question more thoroughly. They discussed the conditions of their children and asked for details about the feature and prospects of the senior secondary subjects.

Through sharing and discussion, mutual understanding between parents and the school is enhanced and students are more confident of making their own choices in the months to be followed.
